The month of November provides a sumptuous feast of the best musical notes coupled with the graceful, swift, beautiful movements of renowned artistes at the Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi Auditorium made possible by the ‘Thalam’ of Hari Sri, in association with Soorya. Inspired by the legendary Soorya Krishnamoorthy, Thalam was founded by Mrs. Nalini Chandran , herself a trained dancer and theatre person, and supported by a group of like- minded parents and well- wishers of Hari Sri in 2003. The basic aim was to give the young generation a chance to get to appreciate real art and culture, thereby inculcating in them a taste for it. Over the years, Thalam has presented many eminent artists and groups from home as well as abroad, both legends as well as the up and coming.
