SCHOLASTIC ASPECTS

The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) and students write the board’s class X ICSE exam and class XII ISC exam. In tune with the NEP 2020, school – based evaluation covers both the scholastic and non-scholastic aspects of the pupils growth. The nature of scholastic evaluation is based on Regular Assessments , Bi – monthly assignments, Tests and Semester Examinations. The school takes pride in its academic success which according to the school is achieved by its interactive teaching methodology.

NON – SCHOLASTIC ASPECTS

S.U.P.W ( SOCIALLY USEFUL AND PRODUCTIVE WORK) is an integral part of our school curriculum. This subject is compulsory for all candidates inorder to get the Pass Certificate of the ICSE and ISC examinations. It is divided into two sections –

• ART AND CRAFT – This includes drawing, painting, dancing, singing, hard work, etc.

• COMMUNITY SERVICE – Children are expected to take care of their respective classrooms. The traditional once-a-term cleaning and washing of the school involve both students and teachers working together, fostering a unique student-teacher rapport.

SPORTS AND GAMES

The school places equal importance on extracurricular and sports activities and has achieved commendable performances at various zonal, state, and national-level championships.

House System

To foster a healthy competitive spirit, the school is divided into four houses:

• 🟥 Ganga (Red)
• 🟩 Godavari (Green)
• 🟨 Kaveri (Yellow)
• 🟦 Krishna (Blue)

Students wear smart shorts and T-shirts in their house colors, adding vibrancy to the Sports and Games Department. From Class VII onwards, students also wear a tracksuit and T-shirt.

In addition to regular games and PT periods, the school provides coaching for team sports, including:
