"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams'.
Eleanor Roosevelt
Let me begin by conveying my warm wishes and blessings through this message on the school website.
We, at Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School, believe that our future is entwined with the future of all the young minds who pass through our portals. For that reason, we strive to bring out students who will walk into that future with confidence enough to create a niche for themselves.
Our curriculum is holistic. It combines the qualities of independent thinking, critical analysis, leadership and life skills, all so vital in a world that recognises these as virtues. We also pride ourselves on being a school where both Malayalam, our mother tongue, and English, our acquired tongue, are given equal importance.
Our school slogan 'May the Peal of Harmony be the Appeal of All Religions ' is engrained in the psyche of every child and adult in school. All religions are respected and celebrated, but we follow the tenets of compassion and humaneness. We expect our children to believe in the heartwarming qualities of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness, requisites for the formation of a sterling character.
I laud the School Executive Committee, the heads, the teachers and non-teaching staff, the parents and of course, the students for being an integral part of Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi.
May we be able to continue our commitment to education, the seeds of which were sown by Mrs. Nalini Chandran, our Founder Principal. May we be able to inculcate practices that enhance the learning-teaching process, deepening the bonds between the teacher and the taught.
Finally, in the words of the inimitable HW Longfellow,
"Let us, then, be up and doing
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing
Learn to labour and to wait."
Warmly,
Deepti Menon
